CURLS, CURLS and more CURLS!!!!!

The boys have started to get curls at the back of thier hair- which I absolutely love and will refuse to cut!Logan's delicate little curls :heartthrob:
Connor wouldnt hold still for me so i could take a pic of his curls. He has the thicker longer hair, so he has more defined curls.
I love it. I am on cloud 9. Who needs a girl?!
Oh and to update- both boys are showing signs of impending teeth on the top. Connor's are almost through and Logan is just getting the swollen gums, but you can feel them. They are both in misery. Connor is forever chewing on his fingers for relief-poor thing. they are really giving him fits!

pics of my babies!

My sweet little Connor just staring into the world.
Connor loves to defy the way things were meant to be used. That means climbing.

Gazing

The boys watching Trevor ride his bike outside. Connor is in the green.
Connor-one of his favorite past times is playing with the vertical blinds. Any bets on how long they will last?

New alternative to bathing

WE cant get a darn thing done around here without the twins first making thier mark.

My 3 men growing up...

Logan, Trevor, Connor

The St Louis Zoo!

The weather was a wonderful 75 degrees. Since Trevor has a.m. kindergarten, we were able to get out and explore the Zoo. Now, mind you, this is a FREE Zoo. It was gorgeous. Some animals were still off display and the water features were off until the risk of freeze is gone, but it just gives us an incentive to go back. It will be great to see the trees in full bloom and everything green. The Zoo was so big, that in 5 hours we saw about only a third of it. You must definately go for the whole day. Again this is a FREE zoo. We were in awe. Can't wait for everyone to come and visit and see the Zoo with us. It will be great.

Getting out and about...

Logan up Connor down

Our first big social event was on Saturday, March 10th. It was Savannah and Alexandra's first birthday and later was an open house at Jeanette's new house. Daddy was able to mingle with some big wigs from Annheuser Busch also. It si so different meeting up with new people who have twins also. The other girls Kearstin and Kailey are from another person I met on my message board, who also was pregnant at the samen time. Her name is Anita. Alex and Savannah were 29 weekers. K&K were 34 weekers. All of our preemies seem to be doing remarkably well.

Connor wasn't feeling well, so while he slept, the other 5 got into the beer bucket... Yep! When you are in AB territory, you teach them young.

Trevor and Tiny

Learning to walk together.....

http://s32.photobucket.com/albums/d1/gilbertkimber/?action=view&current=DSCN2091.flv

The boys do so much these days. Aside from driving us nuts, they are becoming little communicators too. When Connor is doing something naughty, when I tell him "NO" he hides his face or looks away-kind of like an ostrich that hides it's head. So funny! Both will shake their heads "no' before I even get the chance to say it and then look at me like they are proud of themselves for knowing they were doing something they shouldn't.
Both are waving too. It is so cute. I will try to get more video of them doing thier little antics.

Trevor likes his new school a lot. He especially loves riding the bus. The whole Tornado thing has him a little scared and he is having a lot of anxiety of a tornado coming. Every night we have to watch The Weather Channel to show him what the weather is going to be like. He even acquired a new protector "tiny" the T-Rex. He is the defender at night time. I feel bad for Trevor that his first experience witht he weather here was a bad one. Kind of reminds me of how Korrie and I used to pack up our pillow cases with our worldly goods everytime it would storm- just incase we had to run for the basement. This is because a tornado went down Washington Center road when we were about 8 or 9 and Dad woke us up in the night screaming "Tornado, Go to the basement" !!! We were so scared and you could hear it go over the house. Luckily that did damage only to the tree tops and never really touched down. I can truely see where Trevor is coming from.

Meet "seek" and "destroy"- the Dynamic Duo!

No, the cabinet doesn't have legs. That would be Connor.
ooooohhhhh.....what's in here?

Looks like we are getting back 2-fold what we did to Mom and Dad as toddlers. They are into EVERYTHING!!!! Every time I turn around, a new discovery is happening at the expense of our belongings. Luckily, nothing has broken, but geez...how much babyproofing do we need to do? We have gates in front of the TV, computer, shelves (so books cannot be pulled off) at the stairs, in front of the bathroom......ect. And it is not just one, but both of them, conspiring against mommy and daddy.

Weathering our first storm

Living out my storm chaser fantasies.... WEll, this was yesterday and it was Trevor's first day riding the bus. His bus stop is right outside our door, so I sent him out. Nasty storms were off to the west and were supposedly heading our way at 60 mph. This storm had already produced one Tornado which touched down in Japan, MO. Well, It supposedly was headed right for us, but ended up taking more of a northern turn, so it missed us. We ended up with a few sprinkles and sunshine. Well, I sent Trevor out to the bus stop when all of a sudden all (and i mean ALL) of the tornado warning sirens started to go off. It was so loud out! Trevor glanced me a look so I had to go out and stand with him. The clouds were really billowing off to the west and I was able to snap these pictures. This is the tower that produced several tornados. It was the southern most tip of the storm line. I was quite prepared with my camera in hand to catch a tornado, then run like hell for the basement.

new experiences

You got it! That would be Khalua in Connor's hands.....
Having the new apartment lends the babies to explore territories they werent allowed to at our old house. The newest fascination is the fridge- and yes, they can open it! YIKES. I am wondering if they make enough childproofing equipment.....
