Trevor's first skating lesson for Hockey

The hockey program is very reasonable and includes the equipment, which is nice. He really enjoyed his first lesson, but was disappointed about not getting to go on the ice. They worked on proper skate fit, walking forward and backward and balancing. He still had fun and was beaming from ear to ear with the skates on.
The neat thing about the program is that it is USFS (US Figure Skating) accredited program, so each time they complete a skill level, they get a badge and certificate. Trevor is an official member of the USFS association. Once he gets through the basic skills, he'll get to start hockey.
So our big boy will be 7 next week. And a big boy he has become.
We saw the new pediatrician last week. He is 49 1/4 inches tall and weghed in at 58.4 lbs of solid muscle. He is in the 75th% for height and 80th% for weight. Not too shabby and growing as he should. He had some lab tests done that came back normal. he also started some new asthma medications. He ended up getting a chicken pox booster, but now, there are no more shots (except the flu) until he is 11 years old!!!!
