Well, I asked the Dr today about transferring Logan back to Dupont Hospital. He is so impressed with his progress that he sees Logan going home from Lutheran. Logan is taking 2 ounces by mouth of breastmilk- no additives any more. He has no Nasogastric tube and he is on 1/4 liter of oxygen. He is on the low-flow cannula. He was a little pokey today about eating, but when I got there for his 8pm feed, he sucked all 2 ounces down in 10 minutes. His weight is stable at 5lb 14 oz. He lost a bit when he shed off all of the fluid. Logan has also had 2 of the 3 diuretics discontinued and the remaining one is only once a day.
He may be home by the end of this week!!! I am sad though about Dupont. We didnt get to say a proper goodbye and I still want to do something special for the nurses who cared so well for the boys. They were so wonderful.
